What should you pay attention to when working with the excavator breaker?

2024-02-26

Check whether the high-pressure and low-pressure hoses of the excavator's breaker hammer are vibrating too violently. If such a situation occurs, there may be a malfunction. You should contact your local authorized designated office immediately to obtain after-sales maintenance services. Should Relevantly check whether there is oil leakage at the hose joint. If there is oil leakage, the joint should be re-tightened. As shown in the figure below, you should visually check whether there is any margin in the steel drill during work. If there is no margin, it must be stuck in the lower body. The lower body should be removed and the components inspected to see if the faulty parts should be repaired or replaced.

2. Terminate work (avoid excessive air strikes)

If the stone is broken, hammering should be stopped. If the air hammering is continued, the bolts will loosen or break, and even the excavator and loader will be adversely affected. When the penetration force of the breaker is improper or the steel drill is used as a pry bar When the breaker strikes empty, the phenomenon of empty strike will also occur. (The sound of hammering can change when the breaker strikes empty)

3. The excavator breaker cannot be used to move rocks.

Do not use steel drill or the side of the bracket to roll or push the stones. Because at this time the oil pressure comes from the excavator, loader arm, forearm, bucket, swing or slide, so the forearm and forearm will be damaged. At the same time, The breaker bolt may break, the bracket may be damaged, and the steel drill may break or be scratched. Avoid using the breaker to move rocks. It is particularly emphasized that the steel drill is inserted into the rocks and must not be walked during excavation.

4. Do not use the steel drill as a pry bar

If the steel drill is used as a pry bar during gravel crushing, the bolts and steel drill may break.

5. The excavator’s breaker hammer continues to strike south for no more than one minute.

When hitting hard rock, hit the same place continuously for no more than one minute, and then change the hitting place. Long-term hitting use will also cause the oil temperature to rise, which will cause damage to the steel drill bushing and the steel drill. Progress is damaged.

6. For long, hard rocks, you can start to break them at the cracks and tail ends, which makes it easier to break the rocks.

7. The excavator breaker needs to work at a routine engine speed.

When the breaker hammer is crushing, the engine speed should meet the required fixed value. Engine speed exceeding the required working speed will not increase the impact force, but will increase the oil temperature and cause equipment damage.

8. The excavator breaker cannot work in water or mud.

It is not necessary to use the breaker in water or mud, otherwise the piston or other parts may rust and cause permanent damage. If you need to work in water or underwater, you should specially order an underwater breaker.
